Path Of Exile Open Beta, Physical Supporter Rewards Get ETA
Grinding Gear Games have posted some information on when they expect to be able to take their isometric hack'n'slash RPG, Path Of Exile, to open beta. The open beta, due to coincide with the shipping of the physical rewards earned by those who have supported the game during closed beta, will begin in mid-August.
The open beta was originally delayed due to the incomplete state of many of the features that Grinding Gear consider crucial to the playability of the game. The blog post does state that the open beta start date may be delayed if development falls behind schedule or may be moved forward should development proceed at an unexpectedly high pace.
Further information on when new patches are due to be released is also available. The patches are said to contain "hundreds of minor bug fixes" as well as more skill gems and monsters.
The final part of the post contains a teaser image from Act 3:
The official website can be found here. If you would like to support the game and gain access to the closed beta, you can contribute here.
