Over the age of 25? Remember a time when loading screens were ten minutes long and produced sounds that made your ears bleed while simultaneously putting you into a trance-like state? If you answered 'yes' and 'sadly yes' then chances are you'll remember Dizzy; a unique puzzler about an egg in boxing gloves.
Earlier today, the Oliver Twins and Blitz Game Studios launched a Kickstarter that plans to see Dizzy brought into the 21st century.
Alongside the video from the twins is a run-down of what they hope to achieve with Dizzy Returns: a brand new story, non-linear puzzles, a choice of play style, retro mode, are all ideas the team bring to the round, egg-like table.
Perks for backing the re-imagining start at £10 which grants backers a copy of the game on PC, or if you're feeling eggtravagant, perks go all the way to £5000, which nets you a dinner with the twins and members of Blitz, one night of accommodation, and you get to name the princess that will feature in a 'very important quest'.
As of writing, Dizzy Returns' current total is £1,422 pledged of the £350,000 goal with 28 days to go.
